Course topics: 1) Familiarization with the organization of work in departments of internal medicine, departments of surgical departments and compliance with safety and health protection at work. 2) Providing nursing care by the nursing process method. 3) Analysis of human needs in nursing care, medical history, physical examinations. 4) Determination of nursing diagnoses. 5) Planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. 6) Independent performance of nursing services within the scope of competence in cooperation with a clinical practice mentor. 7) Recording data in the nursing documentation. 8) Use of information technologies. 9) Application of appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication with the patient and his family. 10) Application of medical ethics in clinical practice. 11) Use of nursing theories and conceptual models in clinical practice. 12) Effective cooperation in the nursing team, compliance with standard procedures in the provision of nursing care.
