Course topics: 1. Data in healthcare - collection, processing (coding, classification), protection and security 2.Specifics of health and health care statistics 3. Statistics of health services, registers, economic indicators of health 4. Trends of ICT in healthcare - e health, telemedicine, telehealth, informatics in PH 5. Database and GIS systems utilisation 6. Management of information in the clinical environment, EHR, information for patients, information support for the management of the organization and HTA 7. Requirements for information systems in public health institutions, electronic data exchange and e-surveillance 8. Development of integrated information systems in health care (standards, criteria for KIC certification), portals and information for the public, promoting patient safety 9. Critical evaluation of the use of ICT in one\'s workplace and the role of ICT in research
