Anti-discrimination Law Clinic (XNMP_KADP)

Course topics: The tuition will have a form of explanation the EU and Slovak anti-discrimination legislation and its comparison. The students will solve examples of practical life situations, and will need to be able to identify the aspects of anti-discrimination legislation. Outline of the course: 1. The principle of equal treatment in society and in law 2. Anti-discrimination legislation - philosophical foundations and concepts, EU anti-discrimination legislation, Slovak anti-discrimination, the basic concepts of discrimination, prohibited grounds of discrimination 3. The case law of EU courts and national courts 4. Solution of a case study
