Course topics: Course contents: • Defining the subject of psychorationalization of learning and study (psychorationalization as an educational subject; incentives for rationalization) • Extensification, intensification and rationalization as factors of acquiring knowledge (rationalization comparative formula of learning). • Quantitative and qualitative approaches of scientific investigation of psychorationalization of learning; goal of higher education • Acquisition of knowledge and states of consciousness (suggestopedia, hypnopedia). • Ways of citing, searching in electronic databases. • Facilitators and inhibitors of independent learning (motivation, transfer, mental maps, meaningful learning, multitasking, procrastination, self-learning from the aspect of age; learning schedule • Psychological requirements for organizing the teaching and study environment. • Prerequisites for independent learning (activation of attention, thinking, memory) • Alternative ways of learning (learning aloud/silent; individual/group learning) • Independent learning techniques (speed reading; underlining) • Key competences (communication, cooperation, problem solving and creativity, independence, ability to accept responsibility, think, reason and evaluate) • Repetition in independent learning and individual study
