Course topics: The place of psychology in the system of sciences, psychological disciplines, methods of psychology, the context of the human psyche Perception, perception, ideas and memory, thinking and intelligence, learning, attention, motivation and emotionality of a person Developmental patterns, prenatal psychology, perinatal phase, relationship, neonatal period, infant period, early age, preschool age, school age, adolescence, upbringing and education, developmental disorders, mental and psychosomatic disorders in childhood and adolescence The period of young adulthood and the period of older adulthood. Early old age and true old age - serious changes in the psyche, way of life, dying Personality and important theories of personality (Freud, Erickson, cognitive-behavioral psychology, theories of social learning, existential psychology - Frankl, Yalom ...) Mental health, prevention and treatment of burnout syndrome, use of psychology in helping professions Priority in providing first aid, primary and secondary examination of the victim Basic emergency resuscitation using AED (Automated External Defibrillator) First aid for life threatening conditions First aid for selected injuries and sudden health disorders Selected crisis situations in social services facilities and medical intervention (NCMP, myocardial infarction, epileptic seizure, foreign body in the respiratory tract, hypo and hyperglycemia, etc.)
