Course topics: Labor law is an independent branch of the legal order of the Slovak Republic, which regulates the mutual relations of subjects that arise in the performance of dependent work. A substantial part of the teaching of the subject of labor law consists of individual labor law, which regulates employment relations between the employee and the employer. A relatively separate systematic part of labor law is collective labor law governing relations between collective legal subjects. Lectures and practical exercises are focused on a special part of labor law related to employment and working conditions. Lecture topics: 1. Work discipline. 2. Working time. 3. Holiday 4. The right to remuneration for work . 5. Obstacles at work. 6. Safety and health protection at work. 7. Employee care. 8. Special conditions for women and adolescents. 9. Responsibility for damage in labor law. 10. Collective labor law. 11. Labor relations in the civil service. 12. Disputes in labor relations.
