Course topics: Schedule of subject: 1) Characteristics of the field of ophthalmology, ophthalmological nursing, structure and organization of the eye department 2) The most common eye problems 3) Assessment in ophthalmological nursing, collection of anamnestic data from the patient 4) Special examinations in ophthalmology, self-examination using the Amsler grid, examination of visual acuity using the Shnellen optotype - in pairs 5) Characteristics of the field of otorhinolaryngology, ENT nursing, structure and organization of the ENT department 6) Assessment in ENT nursing, collection of anamnestic data from the patient 7) Hearing examinations, practice of examinations in whisper and in loud speech, description of audiometric examination 8) Specific problems in ENT: possibilities of deafness rehabilitation, issues of tracheostomy after laryngectomy 9) Injuries to the ear, nose, eye 10) Communication with persons with sensory impairments 11) Documenting nursing activities, including electronic documentation 12) Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve nursing goals
