Course topics: Issues of aesthetic communication. The problem of text as a carrier of aesthetic information. Poetry and prose as broad areas of artistic language and within them lyric, epic and drama as basic literary types. The theory of lyric and within it versology. The theory of the epic text and the theory of narrative. The problem of the ontology of the text. The area of prosodic properties of poetry. The area of poetic imagery (figures and tropes). The basics of the theory of epic.
