Course topics: Labor law is an independent branch of the legal order of the Slovak Republic, which regulates the mutual relations of subjects that arise in the performance of dependent work. A substantial part of the lessons of labor law consists of individual labor law, which regulates employment relations between the employee and the employer. Lectures and practical exercises are focused on the general part of labor law and the special part of labor law concerning the establishment, change and termination of employment and application of the right to work under the Employment Services Act. Lecture topics: 1. The concept, subject, function and system of labor law. 2. Sources and scope of application of labor law. 3. Basic principles of labor law. 4. Labor relations. 5. Precondition for the origin, changes and termination of employment relationships. 6. Establishment, change and termination of employment relationships. 7. Securing rights and obligations from employment relationships. 8. Legal relations in securing the right to work. 9. Individual labor law. Employment. 10. Establishment and change of employment. 11. Termination of employment.
