Course topics: Labor law is an independent branch of the legal order of the Slovak Republic, which regulates the mutual relations of subjects that arise in the performance of dependent work. A substantial part of the teaching of the subject of labor law consists of individual labor law, which regulates employment relations between the employee and the employer. A relatively separate systematic part of labor law is collective labor law governing relations between collective legal subjects. Lectures and practical exercises are focused on a special part of labor law related to employment and working conditions. Lecture topics: 1. Social rights in labor relations 2. Prohibition of discrimination in employment relations 3. Responsible legal relations 4. Collective labor law 5. Employment services
