Course topics: 1. Sports law - concept, sources, principles and principles - international, European, national sports law and their mutual relationship. 2. The relationship between the state and sport - the autonomy of sport as a basic value of sport legislation. 3. The structure of the sports movement in the Slovak Republic, the state regulatory framework, the public interest in sports, recognized sports and sports financing. 4. Bodies of sports law (sports organizations, national sports organizations, national sports associations, sports associations, athletes, sports experts, state authorities in the field of sports regulation). 5. Fundamental rights and freedoms in sport (international, European and national guarantees of fundamental rights and freedoms of athletes and sports professionals, threats and risks to freedom, equal treatment and the right to work). 6. Negative phenomena in sport and the fight against them (fight against doping, fight against the manipulation of competitions, fight against spectator violence - international conventions and national regulations, WADA Code, Anti-Doping Agency). 7. Roles and position of the National Olympic Committee as an umbrella organization of sports in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. 8. Legal status of a professional and an amateur athlete and sports expert and between employment, business and volunteering. 9. Marketing and sports - trademarks, competition rights, protection of Olympic symbolism, advertising and sponsorship, marketing partnership. 10. Business competition in sport - broadcasting rights, ticket sales, sports organizations as companies, sports competition as a business competition. 11. Dispute resolution in sport at the national and supranational level, alternative dispute resolution in sport. 12. Liability relations in sports.
