Judicial system of the Slovak Republic and legal aspects of the EU – cooperation of national courts and the Court of Justice of the EU – practical problems and challenges. EU and accession to the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms – current issues and challenges. EU Security and Defence Policy – EU response to global security developments and EU legal instruments for resolving international conflicts. Free movement of workers – current issues and challenges. Free movement of persons and definition of related problems. Application of EU competition rules in the conditions of the Slovak Republic – problems and challenges.
